Phrasal verbs – fall

Fall behind means to fail to keep up. Example: If I don't study fro two hours every night, I risk failing behind with my class work.
fall through means to fail to happen. Example: Our plans for the weekend fell through so we were left with some free time.
fall out means to quarrel with a friend. Example: they have fallen out over the present.
Fall for means to be strongly attracted to somebody. Example: They fell for each other instantly.
Another meaning is to be tricked into believing something that is not true. Example: I'm surprised you fell for that trick.
