Phrasal verbs – grow

phrasal verbs with grow include grow into, grow out of, grow back, grow apart, grow up, grow on
grow on somebody means to start to like something or somebody more. Example: The new house slowly began to grow on her.
Grow out of meanings and examples
1. stop fitting
1.Children grow out of their clothes so quickly.
2. stop liking
 2. He grew out of the habit of sucking his thumb. 
3. develop
3.The idea grew out of discussions between companies in the sector.
grow apart means become less friendly or emotionally close as time passes. Example: We were best friends in high school, but we have since grown apart.
grow up means to become an adult. Example: I grew up in a small village. Bring up means to raise a child. Example: I was brought up in a small village.
